Geotechnical Monitoring

BatiGea Ltd offers its expertise on underground excavations in rock and rock slope stability to its customers in the Civil Engineering and Mining industries.
The disciplines of Geotechnical Engineering and Geomechanics are applied to the design and the permanent monitoring of underground excavations, open pits and slopes.
In particular, the geotechnical monitoring consists in the design and instrumentation of excavated sections, to monitor the evolution of the stress, strain and displacement of the structures during and after construction.
BatiGea Ltd supplies the design of monitoring sections, the sensors and the constant monitoring.

Instrumentation Sections

Different equipment is used and different excavation sections are designed for the monitoring of the rock mass, the sprayed and bolted concrete sections and the final cement lining.

Monitoring of the Final Support Lining

The monitoring of the final support lining of underground excavation permits to evaluate the state of stress applied on the construction and to assess its long - term stability inside the rock mass.
